As most of us know, Reach is a science fiction video game. Its set in the year 2552, just prior to Halo: Combat Evolved. Reach is an Earth like colony that serves as the UNSC's main military hub, but is also home to 700 million civilians. There has been a war waging between the covenant, a combination of alien races, and the Humans of the United Nations Space Command(UNSC).
In Reach you play as Noble Six. Although other members in your Noble Team have names, you don't. However, in this Halo game you have your choice of making Noble Six male or female.

Carter is the leader of Noble Team. Within the team he also goes by noble one. He was born August 27, 2520 in Durban, Biko. At age 11 he joined the Spartan-III Program's Alpha Company. Its unknown when he became leader of the Noble Team.
Under pressure, Carter stays calm and keeps focused. He's very charismatic, reassuring, and is known as being capable of interacting with regular civilians effectively and efficiently. As a born leader he has inspiring confidence in those under his command.
